Alex Crisses Insight Venture Partners

I discovered somebody very interesting while surfing the web. There is a man named Alex Crisses who is very well educated, has a lot of outside interests, and has a great job that he has held since 2002. Working my way backwards, his job gives him the distinction of being known as Alex Crisses Insight Venture Partners. What is an Insight Venture Partner? Alex Crisses deals with infrastructure software. He also deals with internet investments.

So what else makes Alex Crisses Insight Venture Partners distinctive? He first graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in their division known as The Wharton School. He graduated with a B.S. degree in Economics in 2002. He even was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Excellence. I imagine that being a research assistant to three professors, a teaching assistant, and a peer advisor probably helped him qualify for that honor.

Then, Alex Crisses Insight Venture Partners did not stop there. While working at this company, he went on to get his masters in Business Education at Harvard Business School. He earned this degree in 2008. I’m certain this made him an even more valuable employee. Additionally, he managed to earn honors in his academic performance, he served as a conference chairman, he was a conference director, and he is a member of clubs such as Entrepreneurship Club, Technology & Media Club, and Wine & Cuisine Society. Add to that his outside interests like Varsity Tennis, fund-raising, and other activities, it appears that Alex Crisses Insight Venture Partners is a very well-rounded and interesting individual.

What a convenience to be able to order eyeglasses on-line

What a convenience to be able to order eyeglasses on-line. My husband and I are having to think about this issue once again due to nursing home issues. His mother has lived in a nursing home for the last couple of years. She formerly used bifocals. Now that she mostly is either watching television from her bed or a wheelchair, it was discovered that she was viewing the television screen from the bottom third of her glasses. Naturally, it made sense that they would get her regular glasses instead.

The nursing home where my mother-in-law stays is very nice. She has a lot of very caring caregivers. Sadly, there is one resident who has sticky fingers. This woman will walk into my mother-in-law’s room and help herself to whatever she pleases. Several months back, the prettiest pair of glasses that my mother-in-law had ever owned with rose-colored frames went missing. It was three weeks before some of the staff finally found her glasses. In the meantime, she had to use her back-up pair which is not nearly as pretty nor does it match her current prescription.

Recently, my mother-in-law’s rose-colored eyeglasses went missing again. It might have been left in the shower room. It might have been left in the hairdresser’s room. Or it might have been once again taken by Miss Sticky Fingers. Once again, she had to resort to her backup pair. Then the backup pair went missing three or four days later. My mother-in-law had to resort to her final backup pair which does not look very good on her and does not at all match her prescription. In order to replace the eyeglasses that are becoming and match her current prescription, my husband is going to have to jump through several hoops. That’s when I began thinking how nice it would be to have an on-line company one could call to get a replacement pair. What makes this idea even more attractive is that Eyeglasses.com has free shipping on eyeglasses over $55. They also have an enormous selection. That way, my mother-in-law could select a frame that would be attractive. Then we simply have to let the company know her prescription. I could save to favorites the frame she and we like the best. Within a few days, we would be able to provide my mother-in-law with a replacement pair without having to leave the comfort of the nursing home or face rainy or unpleasant weather.

You could send Easter and holiday flowers for a great discount

As you probably know, Easter is coming up on April 4, 2010. There is also April Fool’s Day on April 1st. Palm Sunday is celebrated on March 28th. Additionally, Passover begins at sundown on March 29th. Perhaps you might choose to send flowers for one of those occasions. Or perhaps you might wish to send flowers just because there is a loved one who is hurting, celebrating something, or in need of a tangible sign of how much you love them. If that is the case, perhaps you might want to send flowers from 1800flowers. That is a company who has a huge selection of flowers for every occasion.

Interestingly enough, the company of 1800 flowers.com was started by a man by the name of Jim McCann. He is the CEO as well as the founder of this company. His first New York store opened in 1976. Ten years later, he acquired the rights to the phone number. Currently, of course, they now have the website that can be accessed any time of the day or not.

So back to the savings idea: I notice that the company has 1800 flowers Promotion codes you can enter. Several of these codes will give you 15% off your bill. Some of them also include free shipping. Additionally, you can get same day delivery on several of their bouquets in case you accidentally leave your flower ordering to the last minute. The company also has several Coupons for 1800Flowers that you can get. Check out that link as they have a variety of expiration dates. Some of them come up soon. Some are extended. By the way, before I forget, you can even become a fan of 1800 Flowers on Facebook. That way, you would be able to stay current on their latest bouquets and some of their great coupon offers.

In any case, whether you order flowers for a specific holiday or another occasion that has significance for you and a loved one, I hope you all have a lovely holiday and a very happy spring.

In today’s economy, American Career Group could be of help to you

As we all know, multiple people are out of work. Some got fired. Some got laid off. Some had to move due to family circumstances and no longer live close to where the former job was located. Some quit their job for a huge variety of reasons. So for those people who are out of work who need and want to work, what do you do? Fortunately, there are staffing agencies available for people with a variety of office skills. One of those staffing agencies that has nationwide opportunities to help eager workers is a group called American Career Group.

I feel they have a great motto that I included in this blog. Their motto is very apt: “We won’t stop working until you start!” That should be very encouraging to unemployed people to realize that American Career Group will proactively work to find you the work that you need the most.

American Career Group not only helps unemployed people find work, they give tips for the interview process. They give tips for ways to discuss and approach the salary package, once that job has been offered. They also give tips for how you should approach your daily work ethic so you can be perceived as a valuable worker. So it is definitely companies like American Career Group who can really be of benefit to people in need of finding and getting a job.

Author Frank Hanna, III wrote insightful book

Frank Hanna, III wrote an insightful book entitled “What Your Money Means: And How to Use It Well.” It was published in September of 2008 by Crossroad Publishing Company. It is interesting to me how people formulate the book concepts they write about. Given that Frank Hanna, III is a philanthropist, among other things, is it any wonder that he wrote a book that incorporates ideas like how to give wisely? The book also addresses many other ideas about money.

I can imagine that Frank Hanna, III has lived the experiences he writes about in his book. After all, in addition to being a philanthropist, he is also a CEO of Hanna Capital in Atlanta, Georgia. He runs this company with his brother David. He has also served time as a corporate attorney. He helped start three Catholic schools in Atlanta. He conducts public speaking talks on faith, philanthropy, and business. He’s been a part of many charities. So all in all, it appears that this book would be an accurate reflection of the concepts and ideas that Frank Hanna, III has come to integrate in his own life. Perhaps this is a book that would give you some insights into your own life as well.
